Our aim is to provide a friendly, inviting rural environment where everyone feels at home and can receive SEN support to achieve. We understand many of our young people have to cope with difficult circumstances, we hope to enable them to develop and adjust to the challenges they face through animal assisted learning.

We offer a unique tranquil rural atmosphere where people can engage, be stimulated and inspired in creative techniques and life skills that they are encouraged to develop at their own pace.

We are an independently registered Asdan Centre and work both privately and in partnership with local schools, MET, Kidderminster College & WCC LEA. We are able to offer a selection of qualifications at entry and level 1 & 2 Asdan COPE incorporating short courses in Land Based Studies, Animal Care and Life Skills.

Asdan stand for Promoting active and experiential learning. Celebrating the diversity of multi-talented young people. Encouraging, engaging and motivating learners. Developing skills for learning, skills for employment, skills for life. Making learning relevant and transferable. Rewarding a range of learning styles and contexts.

We understand that a tremendous amount of satisfaction comes from being able to complete tasks on your own. We are also able to tutor and mentor in a diverse range of life skills and creative artistic techniques tailored to suit the individual requirements.

Our therapeutic environment and friendly approach encourages participants to build in dexterity, expression and self-esteem whilst having fun and social interaction in small supportive groups or one-to-one.

Students are able to develop their equine skills by grooming the ponies and donkeys and learning how to feed and care for the animals, building their self confidence to enable them to enjoy individual horse riding sessions.
